Customs officers inspect a Qing Dynasty
(1644-1911) emperor's silk dragon robe as they offered the Customs clearance
service for 92 pieces of Chinese silk antiques yesterday at the China Silk
Museum in Hangzhou, east China Zhejiang Province.
The museum is preparing the
antiques for an exhibition on Chinese silk culture scheduled for late March in
Nottingham, Britain. The exhibits will include silk relics dated back to BC
202.
