The National Archives have awarded two large grants for archive services in South Yorkshire for the reduction of backlogs in their catalogues.
Rotherham Archives and Local Studies Service received a grant for £39,171 for 'From Bunker Hill to Burma': the York and Lancaster Regimental Archive whilst Sheffield Archives got a grant for £34,167 for The Rise and Fall of the Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire.
