A SOUTH Yorkshire man has been charged with a number of heritage crime offences in the Horncastle area.
Kevin Thomas Lomas 40, of Scholes near Rotherham has been charged with nine counts of theft.
The items Mr Lomas is accused of stealing include Anglo Saxon coins and brooches.
He is also charged with one count of ‘going equipped to steal’ with a metal detector and two counts of possession of criminal property.
Mr Lomas will appear at Skegness Magistrates Court on January 3
