Tracking the Sheffield Gangs: An East End Poetry Walk with Rob Hindle
Meet at 2pm at the top of Princess Street, Attercliffe. All tickets £6 (includes CD of the
poem produced by Longbarrow Press)
Rob Hindle will read his extended poem which illuminates the notorious 1925 killing by the Park Brigade gang and discusses the relationship between history and poetry.The walk will finish at Lady’s Bridge on the Wicker.

Lady Arbella Stuart : The Queen That Never Was – An Illustrated Talk by David Templeman

Local historian David Templeman tells the tragic and compelling story of Lady Arbella Stuart - the granddaughter of Bess of Hardwick and niece of Mary, Queen of Scots, who was brought up to be crowned after Elizabeth I. In collaboration with Museums Sheffield

An event with readings, music, hot food and cake to celebrate Off the Shelf’s Write Down Your Street project.Writing workshops in the South of the city have encouraged people to write about where they live and their personal histories and a book of some of their words will be launched at this event. In collaboration with Art in the Park
