Magazine: Priories Historical Society Magazine: Issue 4 now out

Issue 4 of the Priories Historical Society Magazine is now available. The latest issue contains articles on the Luddite Bicentenary, the PHS Field Survey at Maltby, a report on all the recent cuts and changes to archaeology/university and museums and an article on the Heritage Seed Library as well as the regular poetry and Local Archaeology News.

Members can pick up the magazine at the next meeting or have it delivered to them (Please speak to Pam for postage costs)

TV - Maltby's memory exhibition opens to the public (BBC)

A history exhibition which features people's memories and experiences of living and working in Maltby, near Rotherham is open to the public.

The fourth edition of the Priories Historical Society Magazine is due out at the end of January.  If you have an article/photograph which you would like printing please e-mail the society at Priorieshistoricalsociety(at)rocketmail.com


The cost of the magazine is £1 for non-members and free for members (Membership is £5 per year and also gets you a pound of each meeting attended.  We produce the magazine three times per year)
